Why am I not sleeping after Trazodon?
I treat generalized anxiety disorders. I was given Buspirone from the doctor which I take in the morning 10 mg, Gabapentin 300g in the morning and evening and Trazodone (not Trittico!!) in the evening at a dose of 200 mg. Trazodone was supposed to help me fall asleep. Fortunately, this is not the case. I'm taking it for two weeks now and I still can't sleep.

Perhaps the reason is that trazodone is not a typical sleeping pill. However, it has a positive effect on the so-called "sleep architecture" – it increases the length of deep sleep (improves sleep quality), especially in patients with depressive symptoms.
If there are no advances in the treatment of sleep disorders, you should discuss with your doctor.
