Is taking the drug Acnatac Can you take vitamin A supplements?

Is it possible to use vitamin A ointment and vitamin A ointment orally in tablet form at the same time?

Specifically, it is the drug acnatac used in the form of a facial ointment and dietary supplements that contain, among other things, vitamin A (retinyl acetate).

You can take oral vitamin A supplements while you are taking Acnatac.

According to the manufacturer of Acnatac:

"Tretinoin is present in the body as a metabolite of retinol and to some extent has a growth-promoting effect similar to that of vitamin A. Based on the results of representative, well-controlled clinical trials, topically applied tretinoin did not increase plasma concentrations of all-trans retinoic acid (tretinoin). Following a single topical administration of radiolabelled tretinoin, blood retinoic acid levels did not change over a period of 2–48 hours. Neither a single dose nor long-term treatment with topical tretinoin alters the systemic retinoid levels, which remain within the range of endogenous concentrations found in the body under natural conditions."

Therefore, there is no risk of hypervitaminosis A.
