Can a pharmacist dispense 2 packs of 300 mg instead of 4 packs of 150 mg?

Good morning

The doctor prescribed me a medication that increased the dosage from 150mg to 300mg, but wrote a prescription for 4x150 due to the difficult availability of the drug. Can a pharmacist dispense 2x 300mg instead of 4x150?

No, a pharmacist cannot dispense more medicine than is written on the prescription at the pharmacy.
If you need a dose of 300 mg, you will need a new prescription.
