Amotaxis is a prescription drug, when using it, you should follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor, do not administer antibiotics alone. The daily dose of amoxicillin in children weighing up to 40 g is 40 to 90 mg/kg in two or three divided doses. The dose of 3 g amoxicillin per day should not be exceeded. For a 33kg child, this will range from 1320mg to 1970mg given daily in two or three divided doses.
