Yes. Naproxen (the active substance in Anapran) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that can cause irritation of the lining of the stomach and increase the risk of gastrointestinal symptoms. To minimize the risk of these symptoms, it is recommended to use the lowest effective dose of naproxen for a short period of time. If you continue to suffer from this type of ailment, please see a doctor.
