How to take the medicine Euthyrox ?

How to take euthyrox, every day or every other day. The doctor prescribed me 50 mg, every other day.TSH 8.9.

Euthyrox is a prescription medicine and should be used exactly as prescribed. It is the doctor who interprets the test results and selects the right dose of the drug.

If it is advisable to take 50 mg every other day, take one 50 mg tablet, then take 1 day off and take another one the next day. This is not the same as taking 25 mg of the drug every day.

Please note that you should not adjust the dosage yourself.

If you are unsure about the use of this medicine, it is best to go back to your doctor for clarification.
