Can I have intermenstrual bleeding after I start taking Orgametril?

Good morning. I have endometrial hyperplasia, frequent and prolonged periods. After curettage, hormonal therapy was prescribed, but after taking Orgametril (at first, menstruation stopped) on the 17th day, the daub began, the doctor prescribed a continuous appointment, and today is the 23rd day, it began to bleed with clots. Does this mean that the drug does not help, or can it still be in the early stages of treatment?

Use Orgametril exactly as your doctor has told you. The regimen of use of the drug depends on the diagnosed disease entity. Intermenstrual bleeding has been reported at the beginning of therapy (in the first 2 months of treatment).

If the bleeding is intense and does not stop, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also take advantage of a teleconsultation via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

Intermenstrual bleeding is described as one of the side effects of the drug. I encourage you to report their speech. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

I am attaching a link that allows you to check the availability of Orgametril and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice:
