It is not recommended to open 4F probiotic capsules and pour out their contents. These capsules contain selected strains of probiotic bacteria, and their contents are properly dosed and packaged to ensure efficacy and safety for the user.
The capsule is designed to reach the intestines and release the probiotic strains that are supposed to work there. By opening the capsules and consuming only their contents, we lead to a situation where some of the active substance settles in the throat and esophagus for some time. It is also exposed to hydrochloric acid from the stomach and digestive enzymes for longer. It follows that such a procedure may affect the absorption and effective action of the preparation.
