Good morning. My son was 5 years old in kindergarten and there were pinworms, but we didn't have pinworms, should I use zentel prophylactically? I would like to add that a year ago, when we were taking "prophylactic" pyranetlum, as indicated by the pediatrician, we ended up in the ward with vomiting that we could not calm down and dehydration. I'm afraid that it may be the same after zentel.

Zentel is a prescription medicine, it is up to your doctor to decide whether you should use it. Zentel is a drug indicated for use in infections with various types of parasites, it is usually not used prophylactically. Side effects such as vomiting and diarrhoea may occur when using Zentel, just like Pyrantelum.
