Is it normal for withdrawal bleeding to occur on a different day than usual and last longer?

Hello, I've been taking pills for 3 years now and only now I've noticed that my period started on Wednesday and didn't happen on Sunday. Now it starts on Thursday and lasts even until Wednesday. Does this mean anything serious? Do I need to change my tablets?

The fact that the withdrawal bleeding occurred a day later than usual and lasted 2 days longer should not be alarming and is not an indication to change the tablets.
A change in the bleeding profile can have many causes, e.g. it can be caused by stress, infection, weakness.
