Does Ospen affect the effects of the Evra contraceptive patch?

Good evening, from today I am starting the treatment of tonsillitis with Ospen 1000, my question is whether I have contraception when using evra patches or does the antibiotic affect the effect of the patches?

In my opinion, you have no reason to be concerned about the effectiveness of the Evra patches. There is no scientific evidence that the phenoxymethylpenicillin in Ospen has a negative effect on the effectiveness of transdermal contraception.
