The "dangerous" iron content in the blood depends, m.in, on the age and sex of the patient.

The norms of iron concentration in the blood are:
- for men - 70-200 mcg/dl - for women 55-180 mcg/dl Different standards apply to children and adolescents. Iron levels above normal levels can cause, m.in, iron deposition in other organs.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the interpretation of the obtained results should be undertaken by the physician correlating them, m.in, with the patient's clinical condition.
