Hello, can taking an antifungal drug e.g. flucofast without ringworm have any / or higher chance of side effects / other consequences than taking this drug with ringworm ?
And in general, does taking any other prescription drug without the disease it is working on have any other consequences than the existing disease? Best regards

The use of medications contrary to the doctor's indications and in situations where the disease is not present poses a risk of side effects. A description of the side effects and their frequency can be found in the package leaflet.
Prescription medications dispensed from pharmacies should be used in accordance with the doctor's recommendations and in the diseases indicated by the doctor. Such medicines should not be used alone.
