How long should you use Ryeqo?

How many months years can I take Ryeqo without having too many side effects or complications?

Ryeqo is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of uterine fibroids in adult women of childbearing potential.

The duration of treatment should be determined by your doctor.

According to the summary of product characteristics, Ryeqo can be taken continuously. Discontinuation of treatment should be considered when the patient enters menopause, as uterine fibroids are known to resolve once menopause begins. It is recommended to perform a DXA test after 1 year of treatment.

Some women treated with Ryeqo who had normal bone mineral density (BMD) at baseline had bone loss of > 3-8%. Therefore, DXA is recommended after the first 52 weeks of treatment to check for an undesirable degree of BMD loss that outweighs the benefits of treatment with Ryeqo.

Trust your doctor and tell him or her if you have any symptoms.
