Will anything happen to the child if I have mistakenly given him Berodual alone without dilution?

I mistakenly administered berodual nebulizations to an 8 year old child without diluting NaCl. Is he in danger?

This does not pose a threat to the health and life of the child.

By administering Berodual alone, the amount of the solution is so small that not the entire dose of the drug will reach the respiratory system. Dilution is used not only to obtain the right concentration of the solution, but also because each nebulizer has a so-called dead volume - from about 0.2-0.8 ml - i.e. this is how much of the solution is left unused (so-called losses), and 10-20 drops of Berodual is only 0.5-1 ml of solution, so in the case of some nebulizers inhalation with Berodual alone would be impossible.
