Alcohol can affect the urinary system and can cause blood vessels to dilate, potentially increasing the risk of unwanted side effects from tamsulosin (the active ingredient in Prostamnic), such as dizziness, weakness or fainting. In addition, both tamsulosin and alcohol can affect blood pressure, which can result in additional side effects. I wouldn't recommend combining the drug with alcohol.
