Hello, 2 days ago I got a Prolia injection and since yesterday I have severe pain in my neck and a problem with turning my head to the right. Could it be after the injection please answer urgently and what to do in such a case. If it was a pill, I would stop taking it. But the injection is for half a year, that's what to do now

If you notice a side effect of this medicine, you should report it to your doctor. Your doctor may recommend oral osteoporosis medication in the future.
According to the manufacturer of Prolia:
"Musculoskeletal pain, including cases of severe pain, have been reported in patients receiving Postmarketing Prolia. In
MSA has been reported very commonly in clinical trials (...) Musculoskeletal pain leading to treatment discontinuation was uncommon in the study."
Severe pain and muscle spasm may be associated with hypocalcaemia, which has also been described as a side effect of Prolia. Therefore, testing the level of calcium in the blood may be indicated. All the more reason to consult your doctor.
If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
