Mom (76 years old) has been taking Pramolan in the evening for 10 days9. A small dose prescribed by a neurologist – for neurosis. He takes his medication at 7 p.m., but has had serious sleep problems ever since. He falls asleep quickly, but wakes up after 2-4 hours and can't sleep anymore. Could this be an effect of this drug? Is it better to move the use to the morning?

Sleep disturbances are a rare side effect of Pramolan (may affect up to 1 in 1000 people). You can try taking the medicine in the morning, immediately after breakfast. If you are taking any other medicines, you should consult your doctor about changing the time of taking the medicine.
