If the injection has been given and the medicine has hit the tissue, the injection should not be repeated as there is a risk of duplication of the dose. Subsequent injections should be given avoiding the thickened tissue. Adhesion should be observed and reported to a doctor in case of enlargement/redness/increased body temperature. It may happen that fibrosis remains palpable, but it usually absorbs on its own.
