Dormicum is a psychotropic drug belonging to the IV-P group. According to the current regulations, "it is permissible to divide packages containing psychotropic substances from groups III-P and IV-P or narcotic drugs from group II-N, as defined in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction – if this does not contribute to a change in the quality of the medicinal product guaranteed by the manufacturer, and each immediate package issued is marked with an expiry date and a batch number, in the pharmacy's own packaging, accompanied by the package leaflet or a copy thereof. The dispenser shall divide the contents of the package into quantities as close as possible, but not more, than those specified on the prescription.' (§ 5.3 Regulation of the Minister of Health
of 12 October 2018 on the demand for and dispensing from pharmacies of medicinal products, foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional uses and medical devices).
