When can I apply my first Evra patch after a 12-day break?

Hello, I've been using Evra patches for about 2 years, I found myself in a situation where the patches ran out and I couldn't find them abroad, it's been 12 days since I had to open a new pack and stick the patch. Do I have to wait until my period starts? Or what to do in such a situation

It is usually recommended to start using the patch again on the first day of menstrual bleeding, but it is also possible to apply the first patch on any day if pregnancy is ruled out and additional protection is used for the first 7 days of use.
