The Profichol Plus dietary supplement contains fermented red rice standardized for the content of monacolin K - lovastatin (statins of natural origin). Although the content of monacolin K in the aforementioned preparation is relatively low (2.5 mg) and its potency is 4 times lower compared to the equivalent dose of atorvastatin, it is not recommended to use 2 statins at the same time due to the increased risk of side effects.
