What should I do if I have taken the antibiotic Taromentin incorrectly?

Hello. I was given the antibiotic Taromentin 875+125. For the first 3 days I took one pill around noon, instead of two every 12 hours because I got mixed up and I was convinced to take 1 in 24 and I should take 1 every 12 hours. How do I dose an antibiotic now that I know how to dose it? Best regards

In such a situation, the safest thing to do is to contact the doctor who prescribed the medicine. If the dose of the antibiotic was too low, its concentration at the site of infection was insufficient. The consequence may be not only the lack of treatment effects, relapse of the disease, but also the development of antibiotic resistance of the bacteria that is the cause of the infection. You may need to take another antibacterial medicine.
