Can Sertagen and Fluoxetine be combined?

I was prescribed sertagen and will continue to take fluoxetine for 3 weeks as a withdrawal agent. Can you take this together in the morning?

It is not advisable to take both medications, even if you keep a time interval.

Both drugs come from the same group and have similar effects. When used at the same time, they can cause dangerous cardiac arrhythmias and an excessive increase in serotonin levels in the brain, which may lead to serious disorders known as serotonin syndrome.

If medications have been prescribed by different doctors, it is necessary to consult the attending physician and plan further therapy to reduce the risk of side effects.
