Can I get Xarelto for reimbursement or for free?

I am 72 years old. I've had 10 abdominal aortic aneurysm surgeries (there were constant leaks into the aneurysm sac). I have a stent graft surgically placed that is long from the heart to the iliac arteries. I have to take Xarelto 20 mg prophylactically and medicinally to reduce the risk of clots. In addition, I have d-dimers (as many as 10,000 at the normal range) < 500) co zwiększa ryzyko zakrzepów w tętnicach. Xarelto 20 mg to 28 tabletek za 149 zł. Pytam, czy mogę mieć ten lek za refundacją lub darmo ? Adres : banpioszy@gmail.com

It is difficult to assess the basis for reimbursement on the basis of such a short description. I encourage you to talk to your doctor about this. The payment for which the patient will receive the medicine is decided solely by the doctor issuing the prescription, based on the medical documentation.

Xarelto is reimbursed in the following cases: treatment of pulmonary embolism and prevention of recurrent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults; Treatment of deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age; in the prevention of recurrence of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism - after acute deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age.

The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book the medicine at a selected stationary pharmacy and collect it after presenting a prescription:
