Good morning
I have strep throat and initially I took ospen 1500 for it, after which there was a significant improvement, but it sensitized me which did not happen before.
For this reason, I was prescribed Sumamed 500, but the symptoms returned, especially the sore throat, even though I had already finished the 3-day therapy.
I don't have the opportunity to go to the doctor now and I'm wondering what to do because I don't want to allow the disease to come back completely.

If the symptoms of strep throat have recurred after stopping treatment with Sumamed, then you should consult your doctor to evaluate further treatment. If you are unable to visit a doctor in person, I am attaching a link to an online teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

As a pharmacist, I can recommend several ways to treat strep throat at home that can provide relief until you consult your doctor. These include:
1) Regular gargling with warm water with azulan, hydrogen peroxide or the use of ready-made gargles. Glimbax: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/33134/glimbax-plyn/apteki
Salviasept: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68760/salviasept-plyn/apteki
2)Consuming warm drinks, such as tea with honey, which can soothe a sore throat.
3) Onion or honey-based syrup will also be helpful in the treatment of strep throat. Alcep: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/3116/alcep-syrop/apteki
Honikan: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/117986/honikan-immuno-na-odpornosc-i-energie-syrop/apteki
4) Increased oral hygiene, including regular tooth brushing and mouthwashing. It's also best to replace your toothbrush after an infection.
