To maintain protection, the first tablet should be taken on the first day of the menstrual cycle.
It is acceptable to start taking the pills from the 2nd to the 5th day of the cycle, but in this case, for the first 7 days of taking the pills during the first cycle, it is recommended to use a barrier method of contraception.
