Can discontinuation of Axia cause acne? Can taking Limetic improve the condition of my skin and hair?

Good morning
I wanted to ask if limetic has a beneficial effect on the skin/complexion and hair? I had to stop using Axie for several years, and my hair and skin deteriorated. Not long before I'll apply limetic with my question from here. Regards Marlena

Drospirenone contained in Axia has a proven antiandrogenic effect, so taking it may alleviate acne lesions. Therefore, while taking it, you noticed a positive effect on your complexion, and after stopping the drug, the condition of your skin and hair deteriorated.

Unlike Axia, which is a two-component drug, Limetic contains only one ingredient – desogestrel. Unfortunately, one of the common side effects of its use is the occurrence of acne.

However, the response to treatment is very individual, so the effect of the tablets should be observed. If you experience bothersome skin lesions, it will be advisable to consult a doctor, report side effects and possibly change the medication.

Here you can check the availability of the medicine and book it at the pharmacy:
