Good morning. I was given Doxycillin by the doctor because of a long-lasting low-grade fever (12th day after 38 degrees). In the afternoon there were blood results and liver tests exceeded 6 times. I was given heparin for my liver. Can I take this antibiotic with this liver result? And can I take Ibuprom when the temperature is elevated again.

If the results of liver tests show a significant increase, then the liver should also be consulted about continuing treatment with Doxycycline. Because of the potential for hepatic stress, it is important for your doctor to assess whether the benefits of antibiotic treatment outweigh the potential risks to liver function.
As for Ibuprom, you should also discuss its use with your doctor, taking into account the current condition of your liver. In the case of existing liver dysfunction, it is recommended to avoid medications that burden this organ.
