Good evening. If I switch from the contraceptive pill to Slinda during or immediately after the 7-day break, do I have to use an additional condom protection or not? Second question. Are single-ingredient tablets less effective than two-component pills? I've never taken one-ingredient pills and I'm a little apprehensive.

The fact that you took a 7-day break means that your hormone levels dropped during this time and withdrawal bleeding occurred. You are also no longer protected by Atywia.
Slinda should be taken on day 1 of the cycle, i.e. from the moment the bleeding is exposed. In this situation, it will take 7 days for the drug to reach its full effectiveness. During this time, you should use an additional form of contraception, such as a condom.
Why is the protection reduced if I am protected during the 7-day break and can make love unprotected by taking Atywia? So why do you need extra security? Is Slinda such a weak drug that you need to support yourself at the beginning? I've been taking contraception for several years now without a break and always at the perfect times.

If you have decided to take a 7-day break after the last active Atywia tablet and only started the first Slinda blister after 7 days, the protection may be reduced. You should use an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom for the first 7 days of taking Slinda tablets.
Here you can check the availability of the medicine and make a reservation at the pharmacy:
