Maviret is indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection.
Contraindications to the use of milk thistle are pregnancy, breastfeeding and age under 12 years of age. Due to the possibility of inhibiting certain enzymes, milk thistle should be used at an interval of 3 hours from other drugs.
As a pharmacist, I believe that the use of milk thistle may have an additional benefit. However, I suggest that you consult your treating doctor.
