Can an Evra patch that was loose in a paper on the desk next to a window through which it may have been exposed to sunlight be reduced in effectiveness?

Good morning. I have a question, if the evra patch was loose in paper (not in a cardboard box) on the desk next to the window, through which it could expose itself to sunlight, it may have reduced effectiveness? He was there for two days. The manufacturer only talks about storage in the refrigerator, hence this question.

In such a situation, there is a risk of reduced contraceptive effectiveness of the patches. Medicines should be stored in the original packaging in a dry place without access to sunlight. I enclose a helpful article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przechowywac-leki
