If Pradaxa is discharged in the reimbursement indication, i.e. "<1>Venous thromboembolic complications in adult patients after elective total hip arthroplasty (up to 30 days after alloplasty) or knee (up to 14 days after alloplasty) - primary prevention" or "<2>Treatment of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism - in people over 18 years of age; Prevention of recurrence of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism - in people over 18 years of age" on a prescription with a correctly marked entitlement "S" can be issued from the pharmacy free of charge for people over 65 years of age.

If the doctor prescribes a drug with a 100% payment (except for reimbursement indications), Pradaxa will be dispensed in full payment.
