Polmatine is a prescription drug. Its use in people with pulmonary embolism and simultaneously taking Xarelto should result from the decision of the doctor who has been informed about the existing diseases and medications taken. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, pulmonary embolism is not a contraindication to the use of Polmatine, no interaction between Polmatine and Xarelto has been demonstrated so far.
