Can Hydroxizinum be used during chemistry and radiation?

Good morning. I have a malignant breast tumor removed. Preventive chemotherapy and radiotherapy await me. I have been prescribed dexamethasone krka 0.008g which I have to take the day of the eagle, during and the day after chemotherapy. I can't sleep and I feel anxious. Can I take hydroxyzinum? Does not enter into a dangerous reaction with a hormonal drug? And is it possible to take hydroxizinum during chemistry and radiation?

At the outset, it should be noted that Hydroxyzinum is only available on prescription, so its use in therapy should be decided by a doctor. Please do not use the medicine on your own. As a pharmacist, I can only give general information about these medicines. These drugs do not interact with each other clinically that would preclude their combined use. It is important to avoid combining different medications on your own, especially during chemotherapy and radiation therapy, as drug interactions can have potentially unpredictable effects. Encourage you to consult with your doctor, who will determine whether hydroxyzine is suitable for you in the context of your current cancer treatment.
