Hello. After performing gastroscopy, I was diagnosed with gastritis (urease test negative). The doctor prescribed me panprazox 40 mg 2xdaily 20 minutes before meals. However, in the leaflet it is recommended to take panprazox 1 hour before meals. Does the shorter interval before a meal affect the effect of the medicine?

Usually, when using drugs from the group of proton pump inhibitors, to which Panprazox belongs, a 30-minute interval between taking the drug and a meal is sufficient. However, the manufacturer of Panprazox recommends swallowing the tablet whole 1 hour before meals, washed down with water. It is best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation. Here you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/59249/panprazox-tabletki/apteki?pvid=189572
