The neurologist prescribed Pridionol 5 mg to my dad. Dad has prostatic hyperplasia and takes medication from a urologist. In the leaflet I read that the contraindication to the use of Pridinol are prostate problems. Another visit to the neurologist in 3 months. What to do in this situation . Should he continue to take Pridinol?

If the neurologist has been informed about the patient's condition and other medicines used by him, Pridionol can be used as prescribed, but if the doctor did not have information about the patient's condition, then the consultation should be repeated - it may be possible to choose another, more appropriate treatment in this case.
