On the WHO list, the effect of analgesics is indicated with the reference point morphine (1). Tilidine has an analgesic effect of about 0.14; Oxycodone is 2, so it's twice as potent as morphine (or you'd need twice the amount to get the same effect). Tilidine acts like 0.14 mg of a morphine unit.

Tilidin and Oxycodone have similar strength of analgesic effect. Due to its chemical structure and mechanism of action, oxycodone may have a slightly weaker effect. Nevertheless, both drugs are potent opioids designed to treat severe pain. Tilidin is not registered in Poland.
