If I have to stop Acard before cataract surgery, can my GP prescribe me injections of Neoparin instead?

if you need to stop using the anticoagulant Acard 150mg for cataract surgery, your primary care doctor may prescribe a discounted injectable drug Neoparin

No, because these drugs have different mechanisms of action and different indications for use. The idea is not to take anticoagulants at all (regardless of whether they are tablets or injections) before the planned operation - so as to avoid the risk of hemorrhage during the operation. You can read about the differences between Acard and Neoparin here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/69451/acard-czym-rozni-sie-acard-od-zastrzykow-neoparin
