Psychotropic drugs are preparations containing active substances capable of penetrating the blood-brain barrier and affecting the central nervous system. This is a broad definition, which will also include drugs used in neurology, hypnotics, affecting the functions of memory and concentration, or in specific pain. Topamax is an anticonvulsant medicine. It is also used in the treatment of migraine, so it can be classified, with this understanding of the word, to psychotropic drugs. On the other hand, a narrow definition of psychotropic substances - which is closer to pharmacists - is introduced by an annex to the Act on counteracting drug addiction. It contains medicinal substances with addictive potential, which may be associated with their abuse. In this sense, Topamax is not a psychotropic. The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book a medicine in a selected stationary pharmacy and pick up after presenting a prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/79437/topamax-tabletki-powlekane/apteki?pvid=73018 I enclose materials that may be interesting and information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/co-zrobic-po-pierwszym-ataku-padaczki
