Alcohol can increase drowsiness and the sedative effects of hydroxyzine, which can lead to serious consequences. Both of these substances have a depressant effect on the nervous system, so their simultaneous use may increase side effects such as drowsiness, fatigue, impaired motor coordination and cognitive impairment. The time interval between taking hydroxyzine and drinking alcohol in the following days should be at least a few days. Do not drink alcohol immediately after stopping hydroxyzine. You can drink alcohol on the second day after the end of the therapy.
