Can I drink coffee with Aciprex?

Hello, is it possible to drink coffee with aciprex? I have a slight impression that coffee with this drug intensifies my panic attacks, is it possible or do I have to wait until the drug starts to work. I would add that I suffer from neuroses and generalized drug and I take aciprex 3 days. Thank you in advance for your reply

Escitalopram is an antidepressant belonging to the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Taking coffee while using Escitalopram may cause some interactions. Coffee contains caffeine, which is a substance that stimulates the nervous system. Escitalopram is a drug that affects the balance of neurotransmitters, especially serotonin. There is a potential interaction between caffeine and escitalopram that may affect the effectiveness of the drug or increase the risk of side effects. Therefore, if you have noticed negative symptoms after consuming coffee during treatment with Aciprex, I would recommend limiting your consumption of this drink or choosing decaffeinated coffee. The availability of Aciprex in pharmacies in the Polish can be checked at the following link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/1823/aciprex-tabletki-powlekane/apteki
