Yes, the insert will do its job. If the expiration date of the TCu 380Ag insole expires in August 2023, and you plan to put it on in June 2023, it will still fully fulfill its task and protect against pregnancy for the period for which it was intended, i.e. for 5 years. In this case, the expiration date is the deadline for inserting the IUD so that the properly installed TCu 380Ag spiral can maintain its contraceptive effect for 5 years after insertion.
