Good morning, there is a new list of drugs at risk of lack of availability - as of May 15 there are 176 items. However, from what I looked, the current list does not include, for example, Zolmiles, but the drug is still not in pharmacies. So what do these updated lists mean? Are these other preparations at risk of lack of availability? How to interpret them?

The list of medicines at risk of lack of availability published in the Official Journal of the Minister of Health cannot be treated as a complete list of medicines that are not available in pharmacies. Yes, the list includes medicines that are missing in at least 5% of pharmacies in a given province. However, colloquially the list is called the "anti-import list", because one of its main goals is to block the export of certain medicines outside our country and preventive action. On the latest, May list of Zolmiles is actually not there. The list is updated at least once every two months. Some items are added, others are removed. I encourage you to review the entire analysis prepared by us: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jakich-lekow-moze-zabraknac-w-polsce-maj-2023 At the same time, the problem with the availability of Zolmiles is not the result of export - legal or not - abroad. According to the information from the manufacturer, the temporary interruption in supply is due to the unavailability of the active substance used in the manufacture of the drug. I enclose a link to check the availability of Zolmiles now and in the future and I encourage you to subscribe to notifications about this product: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/86297/zolmiles-tabletki-ulegajace-rozpadowi-w-jamie-ustnej/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/86297/zolmiles-tabletki-ulegajace-rozpadowi-w-jamie-ustnej/apteki/#news
