Is it normal to have a reddened face after Doxycycline?

Will the redness on the face after doxicillin disappear or will it disappear? Can this be a side effect despite using the 50+ sunscreen and how to get rid of it? I have to take doxicillin for the long term

Redness of the face may be one of the possible side effects of the use of doxycycline, which is an antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline group. Doxycycline can cause various skin reactions, including redness, erythema, rash or photosensitivity. It is likely that the redness will persist throughout the treatment, for this reason I would recommend contacting a doctor to assess the situation and perhaps (if possible) change the treatment to another one. At the following link you can get acquainted with the availability of the drug in pharmacies in Polish: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/24773/doxycyclinum-tzf-kapsulki/apteki?pvid=12648#stacjonarne
