If I take Kostarox 90 mg in the morning and the pain gets worse, can I take another painkiller?

Today the orthopedist prescribed me Kostarox 90. I've always been afraid of new drugs. My question: if I take this new medicine in the morning and the pain gets worse, can I take another painkiller? How is the combination of painkillers?

The reaction to the drug is an individual matter - most patients tolerate treatment with Kostarox well. Unusual side effects should be reported to the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products - more information: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane. Kostarox and Nimesil belong to the same group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs. The use of all medications may be associated with side effects.

It's better not to drink costarox for me on the 5th day, it swollen my face, legs in almost the whole body and it hurt a lot. With this drug you cannot drive a car: you can get drowsy, lose orientation and get hallucinations. The one described in the leaflet. All the information can be read in Russian, because Kostarox is not a Polish drug. If you choose between kostarox or nimesil, it is better to have nimesil not so harmful because it is also analgesic and cheaper. Joints need to be treated, and pain only takes away the pain.

Kostarox is a newer generation drug, belonging to the group of NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) with a strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Do not combine this preparation with other anti-inflammatory drugs from the same group (eg Ketonal, Ibuprom, Aspirin), as it increases the risk of side effects. If the dose prescribed by the doctor proves to be ineffective, I encourage you to have another consultation. You can read more about Kostarox in the leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/93791/kostarox-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/235887 On the above page you can also check the prices and availability of the drug and make reservations at the pharmacy.
