If I stop taking Evra patches after a week of use, is there a chance of becoming pregnant if I have had intercourse without additional protection?
19.99 zł

Hello. I've been using evra contraceptive patches for a week now, but I feel bad after them. I would like to put them away tomorrow instead of changing the patch. Today I had unprotected sex with my partner and the partner ended up in me. If I stop the patch tomorrow, is there a chance of getting pregnant?

If you do not put on another patch, there is a risk of pregnancy. It is usually not recommended to stop using hormonal contraception during the cycle (unless side effects endanger the patient's health or impair functioning). It is worth bearing in mind that side effects usually disappear within the first weeks of using the patches. In an emergency, it is worth contacting a gynecologist - on our website you can use the teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I enclose helpful articles: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna
