Is the effect of telmisarastn dose dependent?

Hi I have a question what is the difference between the dose of 40 mg and 20 mg of Tezeo is about the length of action or what value mmHg will lower the pressure? And how much mmHg lowers the pressure at a dose of 40 mg (I ask because I wonder if it is possible that this dose will reduce the pressure by 30-40 mmHg systolic and diastolic).

The duration of action of telmisartan in Tezeo is not dose dependent. In the scientific literature, I do not find studies determining the average decrease in blood pressure after administration of strictly defined doses of telmisartan. The body's response to drugs that lower blood pressure is an individual matter, so the way they are dosed should be personalized. For this drug, the most effective dose is 40 mg per day. In some patients, 20 mg telmisarat is effective, in others the dose should be increased to 80 mg. During treatment, blood pressure should be measured regularly and the results of the measurements should be recorded. The full hypotensive effect is usually observed pop 2-4 weeks of regular use. Based on the results of pressure measurements presented by the patient, the doctor decides on a possible dose modification. If in doubt, I recommend consulting a cardiologist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-kardiologiem You can read more about the treatment of hypertension in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/nadcisnienie
