After Helicobacter pylori eradication, should Emanera be discontinued gradually to avoid a "rebound effect"?

Good morning, I am undergoing treatment with Helicobacter Pyloria ( Enamera + antibiotic). The doctor prescribed me Enamera for 2 weeks 2 x 40 mg. Then for six weeks 1 x 40 mg. Previously, for 3 days I took Enamera 20 mg. I read that proton pump inhibitors should be discontinued gradually to avoid the "rebound effect". After this period of 8 weeks + 3 days, is another intermediate period not required, e.g. with a dose of 1 x 20 mg?

Proton pump inhibitors, such as Enamera, are often used to treat Helicobacter pylori infection because they help reduce gastric acid secretion and promote healing of the gastric mucosa. When it comes to gradually discontinuing proton pump inhibitors, there are several different recommendations and protocols used by different doctors. I am unable to say what recommendations your doctor should follow for stopping Enamera. It is important to consult the doctor who prescribed you this medicine. Only your doctor will be able to tailor your treatment plan to your individual condition. If you are unable to get to your primary care doctor, the GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book Emanera in a selected stationary pharmacy and collect it upon presentation of the prescription:
