If your mum experiences intense redness of the face after taking Lercan, this may be an adverse reaction of the medicine. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, redness of the skin is listed as a common side effect of Lercan. In this situation, you should consult your doctor to modify the treatment. Any modifications in therapy, including discontinuation of the drug, should be made after consultation with the attending physician acquainted in detail with your state of health. We wrote more about it here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-jak-i-kiedy-mozna-odstawic-leki I encourage you to report an adverse reaction, if it has not been done yet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane If you are unable to get to your doctor, the GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
